Thursday Stefon Diggs Jersey , the Minnesota Vikings made a minor roster move involving the release of a former Minnesota Golden Gopher. The team has announced that they have released cornerback Jalen Myrick, who spent most of last season on the Vikings’ practice squad.Myrick played his collegiate career with the Golden Gophers, and was then selected by the Jacksonville Jaguars in the seventh round of the 2017 NFL Draft. In 2018, he was signed by the Vikings to the practice squad on three different occasions, getting waived twice in between, and finally signed a futures contract with the Vikings at the conclusion of the regular season. With the Vikings having signed several defensive backs in the past couple of weeks, I suppose a move like this isn’t entirely surprising. I’m sure that if the Vikings feel compelled to bring Myrick back in time for camp they’ll be able to get a hold of him. It’s not earth-shaking news or anything like that, but with a lot of the league in a holding pattern until the 2019 NFL Draft, we’re happy to pass along whatever we can. On Monday night at CenturyLink Field, the Minnesota Vikings had their share of opportunities against the Seattle Seahawks. They took advantage of none of them. Thanks to an utterly putrid performance by the Minnesota offense for the second week in a row Harrison Smith Jersey , the Vikings fell to the Seattle Seahawks on Monday Night Football by a final score of 21-7.All of the scoring in the first half came courtesy of a 37-yard field goal by Sebastian Janikowski in the second quarter. The Seahawks had a chance to extend their lead going into the locker room, but Russell Wilson made this inexplicable pass with time winding down. The interception by Kendricks. . .his second in the last two games. . .kept it a 3-0 ball game going into the locker room at halftime. After a scoreless third quarter, the Seahawks got another Janikowski field goal midway through the fourth quarter, a 35-yarder to make it 6-0. The Vikings then pushed deep into Seattle territory on their next possession, keyed by a big 48-yard pass from Cousins to Stefon Diggs. Eventually, the Vikings found themselves facing a 4th-and-goal at the Seattle 1-yard line. Cousins looked for Kyle Rudolph in the end zone, but the ball was knocked away and fell incomplete, keeping the score at 6-0 with nine minutes left in the game. The Vikings had another opportunity for points on their next drive, as they got Dan Bailey in position to attempt a 47-yard field goal, but the attempt was blocked by Seattle linebacker Bobby Wagner to keep the Vikings off the scoreboard.Seattle finally put a football into the end zone with just under three minutes remaining in the game Adam Thielen Jersey , as Chris Carson went over from two yards out to make the score 12-0. Wilson then found Tyler Lockett for a two-point conversion to make it 14-0.On the very next series, any chance of the Vikings doing anything was thoroughly extinguished, as Cousins was hit by a Seattle defender and fumbled the football, which was picked up by Seattle cornerback Justin Coleman for a 29-yard score, with Janikowski’s extra point making it 21-0.The Vikings did manage to get a completely meaningless touchdown at the end of the game on a 6-yard pass from Cousins to Cook to narrowly avoid being shut out for the first time in over a decade. That cut the score to 21-7, but after the Vikings failed to recover an onside kick, the Seahawks went to the victory formation and the Vikings went to their second straight loss.Kirk Cousins, numbers be damned, had an ugly night. The boxscore shows 20 completions on 33 attempts for 208 yards and a touchdown, but he also had the backbreaking turnover and missed several throws on the night. The Minnesota offense didn’t cross midfield until there were four minutes left in the third quarter Kirk Cousins Jersey , and just looked awful all night long.Stefon Diggs and Adam Thielen both went over 70 yards receiving on the night, as Diggs collected 76 yards and Thielen had 70. Thielen also went over the 100-catch mark for the first time in his career. That was just about the only highlight for the offense on the night. The Vikings’ defense got absolutely thrashed on the ground, as they allowed the Seahawks to rush for 214 yards on the game, and they averaged over five yards a carry in the process. That’s how Russell Wilson was able to throw for just 72 yards. . .the lowest total of his career. . .and still see his team win by two scores.Another ugly loss for the Minnesota Vikings in a situation where they could have stepped up and proved themselves, ladies and gentlemen, as they fall to the Seattle Seahawks by a final score of 21-7 on Monday Night Football.
