Also, he was the key cog in making sure the safety happened occupying blockers and opening up a big gap for Mark Barron to make a big hit and securing the tackle.P Johnny HekkerEven though Hekker didn’t really look like himself on a punt or two, he had a few that were classic Hekker punts too. The punt that was downed by former Packer CB Sam Shields was obviously a big play and a game-changer for the Rams as it sparked the scoring and swung the momentum the Rams’ way.
